Mouse monoclonal antibody to neurofilament NF-M

Cerebral cultures stained derived from adult rats stained with MCA-3H11, one of our monoclonal antibodies to neurofilament NF-M (green), and counterstained with our rabbit antibody to a-internexin (RPCA-a-Int, red). The NF-M antibody stains mature neurons strongly and specifically, such as the one in the center of the micrograph. The red a-internexin antibody stains a class of mitotic cell which express many other neuronal markers besides a-internexin, and which therefore appear to neuronal progenitors or stem cells. The MCA-3H11 antibody was used at a dilution of 1:50, while the RPCA-a-Int was used at 1:1,000. The secondary antibody was from Molecular Probes/Invitrogen. Cultures were processed using our standard fixation and staining procedure (described here). To order this antibody go to our order form (here). Picture taken with a Zeiss 40X objective and documented with a Diagnostic Instrument RT-Slider camera.
